Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised there. She went on to become a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. She had a lot of issues with her mother when growing as a teenager. Sheryl states that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father for getting too close. Sheryl enlisted in the military following her graduation from college. Her passion was comedy. She became the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in 1992 when she became a regular participant for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. She has appeared as host of The Talk since 2011. In addition, she has been an unnamed character on programs like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
