Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was part of One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on 1st February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There, with three other students, he founded his musical group, White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, the band also took part in 2010. He always had an interest in music, but also wanted to work as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. In the past, he was employed as a part-time baker in the city he lived in with the aim of helping economically at home. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. The group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in the year 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In consequence, they were one of the finalist. However they were placed third in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds with One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
